This was our first time visiting this part of the world and we really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. I fished for a couple days and my wife visited the local villages and went sightseeing. It was great to be away from the crowded tourist areas enjoying some quiet time in this beautiful area.

One of the best fishing lodges I have been to. Not just because of the fishing, but the full emersion in the culture of the country and the many other activities that the lodge plans as part of your stay. The locations is a spectacular country village, right on a river and the owners and staff truly make you feel at home, Service: 5

Krka River Lodge stole my heart! I recently returned from a family vacation in Slovenia where my father and brother split off from the ladies for two days of blissful fly fishing in the famed Krka region. They should have joined us! I am still a beginner when it comes flying fishing but I definitely had an A+ experience here and hope to come back. Everything, from the lodge management, to the rooms and meals was a delight. It was great to use Orvis waders and equipment given their affiliation. The guides were truly world-class. I had two guides over two days and they made my experience as fun and educational as possible. Both guides were beyond pleasant and knowledgeable given that they each have competed and have won at a national and world championship level. The other guests at the lodge were passionate anglers from around the world. Good people. We crossed paths with another family from the US who have fished around the world together and it made me want to get my kiddos on the river as soon as possible. I could easily return to the Krka River Lodge with my family or plan a guys trip. Maybe even both. Service: 5
