3.5/5 stars. The Chinese food here is actually pretty authentic (the chef/waitress were Chinese), and it seemed like a local hole in the wall. We tried a fish and duck dish, both of which were tasty and satisfied our craving for Chinese food. The ambiance is what you would expect from a hole in the wall - it is underground, small, and a little dark. We heard the chef making noises and coughing, which was concerning, but at least the food was goodā¦..Service was also much quicker than the usual European restaurants. Jasmine Garden is good, if you are craving Chinese food and can appreciate a more Westernized Chinese menu. Cantonese fried rice tastes pretty authentic. Mapo tofu and beef with black bean sauce have good strong flavors. Corn and chicken soup is satisfying. Dishes are a bit pricey (20-30 francs each) given the portion size, but cannot complain as this is the one of few Chinese restaurants in the region. Ambiance is okay: the restaurant is small and below ground, but quiet and clean. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: CHFĀ 30ā40
