Overpriced standard restaurant masquerading as a gastronomique. The restaurant looked lovely and all was going well until I ordered two steaks for the children 'well done'. The steaks came 'medium' and the kids wouldn't eat them as they were too red inside. Sent the steaks back asking if they could go back in a pan for a few minutes. Waited 15 - 20 minutes and the steaks came back cold and as red as they went back. During the 15-20 minutes I was told to wait by the waiter 'owner', when trying to find out what was going on. He then proceeded to ignore me. With two Hungry children, it took quite a bit to keep my cool. The vegetable side that came with the steaks were poorly cooked, luke warm and far from child friendly...soggy radicchio, possibly over poached, steamed?. In the end the bill cost £150.00 for 4 of us. I ended up having to take the children to a burger joint to get them hotdogs.My bream in orange sauce was mediocre. The orange sauce was not delicate, when it needed to be. It was rather like if a DJ had played 'Megadeth' for the first dance at a wedding. The two stars were for the homemade pasta, the omlette and the owners mothers delicious aperitif.
