Abbiamo festeggiato il nostro matrimonio con un aperitivo e una cena strepitosa. Aperitivo vario e molto ricco che ha soddisfatto tutti i gusti e tutte le età. La cena a dir poco spaziale, gli ospiti sono stati tutti soddisfatti, porzioni ricche, vino buonissimo, la carne è stato il piatto più amato. Dolci buonissimi, la torta nuziale bellissima e buonissima. Rodolfo e il suo staff sono stati pazienti, gentilissimi e disponibili. Ci hanno ascoltato e hanno realizzato una festa indimenticabile. Tutto eccellente dal cibo alla location con una vista stupenda, accolti da Rosy super simpatica sempre sorridente e paziente nel cercare di soddisfare tutte le nostre esigenze. Ottimo filetto e oltre le aspettative le castagne sciroppate con gelato. Il Castagno was the perfect place for our wedding. The exterior has a beautiful garden overlooking the valley with a breathtaking view, perfect for the aperitif part or the cake cutting. Inside, the spaces are large and welcoming. Many small details make you really feel the warmth of a home (like the stove or wood oven, for example). Everything is extremely well looked after and really pleasant. The structure is also equipped and ready if it were to rain, as in our case: despite this we never felt "claustrophobic" and the day was a success thanks to the beautiful veranda, specially closed and sheltered. The food then was spectacular. We chose the most complete menu and, despite an impressive amount of food, the staff manages the times impeccably so that we can enjoy every course. Lots of attention to local and seasonal ingredients and raw materials, which really make you taste the best of the area. A special mention for the second courses, truly formidable by all accounts, but it is really difficult to choose the best dish! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Rodolfo, the owner, is really open and ready to satisfy every request. Always clear and honest in explaining every option, he made us feel at home and pampered. Without forgetting the team of waiters and the rest of the staff, truly impeccable. Added to all this (which would already be a lot) is the work of Romina, the wedding planner who collaborates with Il Castagno, which alone would be worth "the price of the ticket". Super passionate and very expert she made our wedding (and all the preparation in the previous months) unforgettable. She is also very attentive to local suppliers and made us discover many beautiful surprises (the people who hand-made the wedding ring holder and the cake topper, just to name 2), with an eye on costs. She accompanied us by the hand from our first visit to the Castagno until the end of the party on the wedding day, with extreme attention, creativity and attention to detail, always being available and ready.
