I knocked one point off the rooms just because of their rustic nature which some folks might not find inviting. It was perfectly fine for me though. The owner was very accommodating and did everything she could to take care of me, which was very much appreciated. For example, she washed all my tremendously dirty/muddy clothes after I finished the mountain race I had come to run. That and many other little things. Thank you so much! I imagine the location would be awesome if you were here to ski or some other adventure in the mountains above this village. The views of the valley below are stunning! Just be aware that you have to go 10k and thousands of vertical feet (or meters) up a steep mountain road with countless switchbacks to get there. Coming from Colorado, USA I love these kinds of roads, but maybe not everyone else does. I updated to 5 stars overall because I thought that's how I rated to begin with. My notation on the room being basic should be understood within the context of "great value for the price". Service: 5

This is the perfect staycation spot if you’re looking to escape the hustle of everyday life. I truly enjoyed my three-night stay, especially the late-night conversations with Myriam and Bernard, accompanied by some delightful white wine. Service: 5
