Everything was perfect. I think this is one of the few places where the check-in experience is completely stress-free and truly reflects their vision of helping guests relax and disconnect. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable. Even the heated room and the bathtub were incredibly relaxing and added to the overall experience. All of the amenities were excellent and thoughtfully provided. Overall, it was a perfect stay, and I would highly recommend it. Service: 5

It’s been a tough few months and my second trip to Hotel Waldegg was the perfect antidote. It’s a special place with the most wonderfully friendly and accommodating staff. Everything has been thought about and the attention to detail is highly commendable. It has the best views in Engelberg, the best spa, and also the best food. I can’t wait for my third time. Having traveled to over 70 countries, I can honestly say the service at Hotel Waldegg is the best I have ever encountered. Every interaction was incredibly accommodating and efficient, making our entire stay feel completely seamless. What made our stay unforgettable: Ultimate Flexibility: They truly put the guest first. We were able to head straight to the mountains upon arrival and check in later. They even granted us a 4:00 PM late check-out, allowing us to shower and pack comfortably after our last run on the slopes before heading to the train. The Room: We received a complimentary upgrade to a spacious room with a balcony facing the sunny mountains. The views were simply stunning. Unique Spa: A beautiful pool with mountain views and a charming sauna built inside a gondola! Relaxing in the outdoor whirlpool was a dream. Perfect Location & Food: Perched on the hillside with vistas of the sun-drenched valley. Don't miss the delicious Thai cuisine on the sunny terrace. If you are looking for genuine hospitality combined with a premium Alpine experience, Hotel Waldegg is in a league of its own. Highly recommended! Service: 5
