We've eaten at Vetterstübli several times but last Friday the food was completely inedible! We ordered cordon bleu with raclette cheese, fries and vegetables. All 3 Cordon Bleu were filled with a cheese that ran out of the meat like water. The cheese was reddish (reminiscent of ceddar) and tasted bitter and was inedible. The vegetables were reminiscent of hospital cuisine without spices or butter and some were still raw. When asked if we enjoyed the food, we truthfully answered no! The waitress was very snarky about the cheese and the Maraner Alpkäse and that no complaints had ever been made about it. We happen to know the Maraner Alpkäse and think it's great! We find it damaging to our reputation to sell this indefinable cheese as Maraner Alpkäse! The Cirdon Bleu cost a whopping CHF 44.00 (without side dishes) and was definitely not worth the price!
