Esperienza Molto Positiva, consiglio vivamente! Struttura in buona posizione, camere spaziose, pulite ed accoglienti, personale cortese e disponibili. Menù curato e con qualche inserimento dj piatti ricercati, ho conosciuto lo chef Paulo, giovane prepararato e anche molto simpatico. La zona della spa molto grande ed accogliente rispetto alle dimensioni della struttura! Ottima la vicinanza allo ski-bus, sicuramente ci ritornerò la prossima stagione!

It is really tough that I have to share a negative review about Hotel Gran Fanes. We are two cyclists who stayed here for 5 nights. The rooms are very nice and the location is great for cycling (although Arabba would be slightly better as it is closer to the passes south of Sella Ronda while also being located on Sella Ronda itself). Unfortunately we ran into several issues with the owners who actively manage the hotel throughout the day. We were one of very few guests while we were there and felt like we were being closely watched throughout our trip, especially at breakfast time. I had accidentally selected one person instead of two when I booked the room initially, and they only accepted non refundable full price up front reservations. When I asked to add the second person, even though the website listed the rate as the same as what I initially had paid, they refused to honor the website rate and demanded an additional 135 euros to add the additional person on. I could sense that they were taking advantage of the non refundable rate and I had no other option to pay the additional "fee" or lose my entire paid reservation. The breakfast was very uncomfortable, as it felt like they were closely monitoring the food and suspected we were taking food for later even though we weren’t. At one point, the owner even became confrontational about this which we found to be very inappropriate given the lack of evidence. I’m sorry we had big appetites in the morning prior to 80 miles bike rides. While we enjoyed the location and the quality of the rooms, because of the incredibly small and intimate nature of the hotel guests and the owners, and given our very uncomfortable experience, I have to advise that you look elsewhere for your stay in Corvara.
