I had a great stay at Hotel Supetar in Cavtat in early October. Due to a cancelled ferry and my own oversight, my room at Hotel Croatia was not booked and no rooms were available. They called over to Hotel Supetar, their boutique property on the Promenade in Cavtat and quickly got me a room there. It was amazing and I am so glad that I got to stay there for two nights. Stanka at the front desk was so warm and welcoming—I felt like I was staying with friends! The terrace overlooking the harbor was a great spot for breakfast and dinner. The whole experience was magical and I could not recommend it more!!

We went in late September: cooler and less busy than the main part of the summer season, so it was quiet, relaxed and very chilled. This hotel is spot on luxury. From the spacious, bright rooms with huge, comfy beds and massive bathrooms, to the choice of three outdoor terraces, plus the garden and poolside to get comfortable and while away many hours with a book or just snoozing. The food at breakfast is light, huge choice and full of local and home made delights like fresh cheese, breads, pates and pickled sardines. The poached quail eggs on crunchy-crusted sourdough with steamed asparagus and spinach with a creamy hollandaise is a must! Each day, there's a lovely sweet treat in the room. Sometimes a fresh fig pastille, crispy sweet pastry, or a carob treat. The rooms are cleaned immaculately each day and the bed linen is super cool and smooth. Add in the super efficient and quiet air conditioning and you can expect such a good night's sleep you might forget to get up! Lastly and best of all is the staff. Nothing is too much. Everyone is welcoming, friendly and helpful. From the front desk/concierge who booked us some special dinners out and arranged boat transfers and noticed I had a couple of mosquito bites, so gave me a bottle of repellant spray (which has been very effective, thankfully!), to all of the kitchen and restaurant/terrace staff and the fabulous housekeeping team. It may not be the cheapest place to stay in Cavtat, but there's good reason for the price: it's pure luxury from start to finish. Walkability: All of Cavtat easily walkable from here. And there's many boat pickup points within 2 minutes walk that will take you on cruises and ferry to places like Dubrovnik Old Town Food and drinks: Light, fresh plates of food served. Local beers and wines along with premium champagnes and spirits. Plenty of cocktails to choose from for that indulgent holiday feel. We are currently staying at this brand new and wonderful boutique hotel, Hotel Supetar Cavtat. This is a truly first-class, high-level hotel. A wonderful location - the old town of Cavtat and the central embankment with a promenade. The design of the hotel and the work, which was done simply flawlessly and deserves a compliment. All finishing materials and equipment of the hotel are of high quality. Cosmetics in the room and all accessories (pillows, beds, robes, towels and even slippers) are all of high class. The breakfast menu is a separate compliment to the chef. And free champagne and a wonderful view on the open and cozy terrace - everything is created for a good start to the day. The atmosphere of the pool area and the inner garden deserve special attention. The entire staff is ready to surround you with full care from the first seconds of the meeting. Special thanks to the hotel manager, Davor Jancic, for his involvement in solving the problem we had with our car. He did everything possible on the part of the hotel to leave the best memories in our memory. The only thing I pay attention to and recommend to listen to all travelers by car is parking. Unfortunately, the hotel is not able to provide you with parking for your car even for a short time to unload your suitcases. You won't even be able to drive up as there is a barrier waiting for you on the way (this is the historical part of the city). You need to park your car in the parking lot of a partner hotel 7 minutes away and contact the reception, they will send a car specially for you. As foreign tourists, it was difficult for us to find our way at first. Knowing that the hotel is located in the historical part, I sent a special request to the central office and, unfortunately, I did not receive an explanation in time regarding parking, which resulted in the incident. My only recommendation is to provide information about parking for your customers at the booking stage to avoid misunderstandings. In conclusion, I can say that Hotel Supetar Cavtat is definitely one of the best hotels in Croatia. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
