Vieni qui per bere qualcosa dopo una lunga passeggiata attorno all' Muri Abbey. Un aspetto positivo di questo ristorante è che il personale è davvero ospitale. Rimarrai sicuramente contento dell'ottimo servizio. L'ambiente è tranquillo, a detta della gente. In base al rating Google, Ochsen 1596 si è guadagnato 4.4.

Absolutely superb meal at the Ochsen in Muri. Cannot recommend it enough. This is the best restaurant in this area by miles. From start to finish, an excellent experience. Great service, a strong concept based all around the idea of fire, fantastic wine from Kanton Aargau, stylish décor, beautiful presentation and cutlery (love the butter knife!). And the food. Where to start? Pork neck with beetroot was divine, the wagyu croquette with miso was so buttersoft, it was served with a spoon to cut it, rather than a knife. The salmon starter was another absolute high point. Scallops, veal, everything was amazing and topped off with an excellent amuse-bouche and even a pre-dessert. The desserts were also truly creative - highly recommend the rice, pear and lime, plus finished off with wonderful petit fours, packed with flavour and inventiveness. This is a superb experience and we will definitely be back! Truly talented chef and team - many thanks!
