I had a brief but wonderful experience at Hotel Residence Loren. The owner is very friendly and kind, just like all the staff. Rooms are clean and the place is a quiet one. I was in Uster for work but I would strongly recommend Hotel Residence Loren for anyone who want to visit Uster (work,vacation). Service: 5
an extraordinary hotel, with a wonderful boss for 3 years we have been coming here in Switzerland and every time we choose Hotel Loren, the owner is a wonderful woman, we also came with our baby and every time we needed something she was always very quick to offer help, she always responds very quickly to messages and always welcomes us with love! very clean room, kitchen and bathroom, parking space and quiet place in the hotel courtyard, dreamy, every time we come with love, I am always at home in Hotel Loren! we love this location we love the staff Service: 5
This hotel managed to double book a room for me and then insisted they have not done so and the error was due to me (which it definitely was not). At the front desk the lady explained that it would be ok and charged me for one room and then proceeded to email me later saying I should pay for both rooms. A really awful and sorry customer experience and not a place I'd want to re-visit any time soon. The room itself was bare with lots of noise from a nearby train. Most importantly the customer service has been terrible, a sure sign of a place that doesn't deserve people's business. I hope they improve, but right now I'd recommend strongly avoiding this business. Edit: as one can see in the reply, the hotel simply cannot accept it is in the wrong about something and will instead choose to berate guests, I recommend avoiding such businesses including this one! Your review speaks for itself. How can a hotel randomly make reservations for people?! you made two different reservations online, you received two different confirmations and two different booking numbers. you accepted the cancellation conditions online when booking for both reservations so free cancellation was not possible upon your arrival. at the reception we reiterated that the cancellation was not free but that we would try to accommodate you, in fact you received a 40% discount on the cancellation cost. we are sorry for YOUR MISTAKE but claiming with one star in this case has no effect on us but thank you very much for your time. If you had been more humble we would have given you a bigger discount!
