Absolutely excellent! I was very fortunate to get a last-minute room at the wonderful Gasthaus Friedegg and it couldn't have worked out better. Such a warm welcome from Daniel and all the staff. The location is excellent and a convenient base for any activity in the area. The room was adorable! I could sit on the balcony and admire the views - changing every minute and watching the sun set over the hills and the moon rise above the Chäserrugg. Best toilet views ever, too! I could hear the cowbells outside and watch the birds of prey sweeping down the valley. Truly the stuff of dreams. The breakfast was delicious and the ingredients all very carefully selected. Local cheese was a special treat. I would highly recommend the Friedegg to anyone visiting the area.

Although we didn’t stay at this hotel, Daniel was very accommodating and friendly when we arrived in search of coffee. He gave us travel tips for the area and even prepared breakfast for us the next day. It is a lovely place and we will likely return to stay!
