Our favorite boutique hotel in Zermatt. Great view on the Materhorn. Friendly staff. The rooms are well designed and comfortable. It is always a pleasure to spend time there in the winter and at any season.

The staff here was THE nicest you could ever hope for--and that was just the beginning. We were greeted at the train station with a small tram to take us up the hill to the hotel; it's about a ten-minute walk without luggage. The hotel sits high above the street, but has an elevator which is accessed from a tunnel at street level. As soon as we checked in we were offered a cocktail and some home-made pie, both of which were delicious. And we ate them from the courtyard facing the Matterhorn. We had a small room, but it was very comfortable, clean, and had a great view of the mountains. We saw other rooms and they were spacious and had even better views. If I had it to do over, I would spring for the bigger room. The spa is outstanding; there's an indoor pool with steam showers and a hamam, and an outdoor hot tub. Breakfast was included and was very nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone--my only regret is that we could stay only one day in Zermatt.

Our family stayed at this luxury hotel 2 weeks ago and had the most amazing experience. We stayed in the 3 BR sky apartment - it was complete with fireplace, amazing huge bathtub - and views of the Matterhorn from most every window and skylight. The location of the hotel could not have been better - spectacular views! The spa and pool were fantastic; the breakfast buffet was the most extensive and delicious I have ever experienced. Thomas and Leni were the most gracious hosts - they made all 5 of us, including my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter, feel like part of their family. And their staff were so helpful and friendly - always a smile on their faces. From the moment we arrived until we left - we felt so incredibly pampered. I travel weekly for business and have had some pretty great vacations, but this was the most incredible 3 days I have ever experienced. Head to Zermatt and the Coeur Des Alpes if you want the experience of a lifetime! Thanks Leni and Thomas!
