We had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel for 2 nights whilst hiking the Via Alpina. The hotel is in good condition, with clean, comfortable and thoughtfully laid-out rooms. We were lucky enough to have a balcony and view overlooking the mountains - simply stunning! We had a very warm welcome from Stefan, who was extremely helpful. As we were backpacking, he offered for us to use the hotel washing machine and drying rack. We ate at the hotel one evening, and although the service was warm, the food was fairly average. The breakfast buffet was lovely though - nicely laid out and lots of fresh/local products. The icing on the cake was the sauna area, which had 2 saunas and quite a few recliners - all looking out over the incredible view. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back one day! Service: 5

Pleasant stay. Sauna was a nice touch. The owner was there at check-in & check-out, including at breakfast to ask if everything is ok. It felt stylish, cozy and comfortable. Service: 5

Hotel Elmer is wonderful! Stefan was such a welcoming and helpful host. The rest of the staff was top notch, too! Breakfast was delicious, the rooms were very comfortable, the sauna was a great bonus, and the views from the hotel are amazing. We also enjoyed a great dinner at the restaurant. Highly recommend Hotel Elmer and I hope to be back soon!
