Hotel con la vista più bella di Capri. Avevo soggiornato in questo hotel in periodo di covid e abbiamo trovato decadente. Questa estate ha superato le nostre aspettative. Ho trovato curato e molto più piacevole. Abbiamo mangiato in hotel più volte e sempre era il top. Anche il personale in piscina era molto gentile. Abbiamo bisticciato con americani che urlavano e hotel ha fatto cambiare la camera. Apprezzo come il gesto. Consiglio per romantico weekend, cena o semplicemente aperitivo Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Romantic

Pura magia ed incanto!!!La bellezza della natura e la poesia del luogo rendono queste posto uno dei più belli di Capri!!!

My wife and I recently spent two nights in a junior suite at Hotel Caesar Augustus. If I were to rate it strictly on the beauty of the grounds and the amazing views then I would easily rate it 5 stars, but the rooms do no live up to the image of a 5 star luxury hotel. First, the good. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. From the moment we arrived right up until our departure, all staff we came in contact with were great. The grounds, as I mentioned, were stunning and well kept. My wife and I could have spent the entire two days roaming the beautiful property and vegetable gardens, or looking at the amazing views of Naples, Mount Vesuvius, and Amalfi. As for the food and drink, all food was very good, fresh, and well prepared. Great service too, in particular our server named Lucia who was friendly and helpful and always recognized us whenever we saw her. The not so good - imagine staying in a 5 star luxury resort that boasts on their website that their junior suites have just been renovated... sounds like a dream! Well, for us it was more like a bad dream. The room we stayed in did not appear to be recently renovated as evidenced by the outdated furniture (complete with sticky stained table tops), the remote for the AC was disgusting and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, the bed was ok, but rather thin and unsupportive mattress, and the bathroom had one vanity that did not drain properly nor did the bathtub. The bathroom layout is poor with the toilet being in the way of opening and closing the door making the space feel very cramped. The worst part of the room though was going to bed at night and you are lying there listening to your next door neighbors - talking, turning light switches on and off, using the restroom, and snoring! Yes, snoring! You could hear it all as if they were right in the same room with you. Perhaps you can escape that by going out on to your 5 star luxury balcony, but no your balcony is right next to someone else's balcony with no privacy in between. You get to stare at your neighbor, listen to their conversations, and smell their cigarette smoke. It was anything but pleasant, luxurious, or relaxing. For the amount of money that is charged per night it is a shame that you have to listen to your neighbors every breathe and stay in a room that obviously has not been renovated in quite some time. We thought this was going to be the absolute highlight of our 10 day trip in Italy, but unfortunately it ended up being our least favorite resort to stay in. Rooms: Thin walls, outdated furnishings, poorly maintained restrooms. No privacy on balconies. Rooms: 1 Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view
