A little corner of paradise ! Thanks to Carole and Olivier for this rejuvenating weekend. In a few words, the hotel-pension beau-site is a magnificent hotel with a tastefully decorated, bright, warm interior with a breathtaking view of the mountains – you eat very tasty nourishing meals and you feel at home from the first minute. The yoga room is magical, the garden peaceful. In short, when we have to leave we are already looking forward to coming back. See you soon and congratulations, it’s great! My wife and I discovered this place while searching for "vegetarian hotels", even though we are actually vegan. It turned out that there was a yoga retreat happening during our stay, and they were eating vegan already, so it was a happy coincidence for us. Honestly, the vegan food was not amazing, but was okay, it seems the chef was still learning about vegan cooking maybe? The breakfast buffett was great, but the dinners were a bit mediocre... Had rice that was not fully cooked, thai curry which quite bland, "blanquette" with seitan which was a bit better.But why am I giving this place 5 stars then? Well the staff was super friendly, accommodating, and warm. The place itself was magical, especially the various hangout spots, couches, huge windows, dining rooms, and cute little bathrooms. There was so much beautiful wood. We had nice walks around there area and enjoyed the views.The room itself was simple and nice. We had a balcony which was great! I think it was the only room that had a balcony. Because it is an old place with thin walls and creaking wood floors, it can be a bit noisy at night if anyone moves around it talks.Anyhow, my wife and I had a wonderful time at Pension Beau-Site and the staff were great, but I hope they put a little more love into the dinners in the future.
