Couldn’t be happier with my stay at Hotel Bauer am See. The lake is stunning and swimmable (a-little cold though). It is a very short drive or 40min walk to Dobbiaco. Its location is perfect to stay away from the more touristy Dobbiaco or Lake Briaies. Lots of incredible Dolomites walks are on the doorstep of the hotel. There is also a bus stop right at the front that take’s you to many places. Thomas and his staff were so helpful and accommodating during our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with good lake views and still in keeping with the amazing architecture of the building. I hope to come back some day! Service: 5

Service is great, staff is incredibly kind, location is amazing, beautiful in the inside, really traditional but in the best way! enjoyed our time a lot and the coffee was cheap! give Julia a raise! Service: 5
