Dear Mrs Petros, I am sorry you feel that way about our company, but would still respectfully like to point out a few things: - Your case was not “lost”. The person in charge of your file left our company and forgot to let you know. We are a small team, and although I 100% agree with you that it is not acceptable and may have sent the wrong message to you, I can guarantee you that we are not in the habit of forgetting about files. We care deeply about our customers, and I believe that your guests’ satisfaction during your wedding speaks towards this fact more than I could. - Regarding the cheese, the producer you selected sent it via regular mail. Swiss law prevents us from selling anything that has left the “chaine du froid”: all fresh products need to be delivered in person. We let the producer know, who agreed to only bill us for one delivery, as he was apparently aware of his mistake. He sent us the second package through the appropriate method, which we served at your wedding, and he then proceeded to collect money both from us and from you: his integrity is at fault here, not our professionalism. His bill was paid by us, and then he asked you to do the same thing, which you did. - I would also like to point out that we gladly agreed to collaborate with him because you requested it for your wedding, something that other caterers may not have done – at least not without a hefty charge, while we did not charge you anything for the whole process. And none of our e-mails and calls to him since then have been returned, which I think speaks volumes about his truthfulness. Please don’t hesitate to contact us directly should you want to talk about these events further.
