The museum staff were delightful and helped us with English audio guides (very entertaining!), a city map and answered all our queries about the city and its archives. The collection is cleverly curated, and we really enjoyed the special exhibition about the Kursaal - particularly the dance with death figures.

Friendly staff. Not much written in English, mostly German. Wheelchair access to part of the museum (an elevator that was locked when we arrived) but the old part (in the tower) is only accessible up a spiral staircase going all the way to the fourth floor. Not allowed to carry bags or drinking water, even on a hot day. They do have free lockers though. No cafe or souvenirs to speak of, though they have a coffee machine. They have air conditioning in the newer section of the museum. Interesting exhibits of history and artifacts. Entrance fee was covered by our city ticket.

Nice experience with this museum. There is an audio-listening option. Very engaging. Modern museum about hystory of Baden, whole region and their hot springs.
