The Haru Sushi restaurant in Termoli Molise, from the pompous name, would seem a refined Japanese restaurant. Alas it is not so. It is nowhere near hybridized with fine Japanese cuisine. Maybe he saw it from afar with a telescope, to be politically correct. Upon entering, the large room does not appear unpleasant to the eye, but the nose, the olfactory organ, perceives strange and unpleasant fish smells. We sit outside, looking better. There's Highway 16 right there. With its traffic. Let's leave out the embarrassments of cumbersome ordering, moreover complicated by the use of a bar code, not manageable by old people with no computer skills like me. Finally we manage to order without the intervention of an interpreter. Steamed ravioli for two. Spring rolls and mixed sashimi without salmon for one. Jasmine tea and beer. Waterfall. After a while the ravioli arrive. But only one steamed, the other grilled. Not bad, it fits. Language barriers! I'm not the best. But, well... I had another memory of this beautiful Chinese dish. Fingers crossed though, almost regretting I stayed. The sashimi arrives. And... the salmon stands out with its colour. But how? I hadn't ordered it. Tired, we eat the preparation, without the ritual accompaniment of wasabi. A modest dish with a neutral flavour. The SASHIMI? Neutral? Noooo! One of the most refined and meticulous Japanese dishes. This place has Japanese costs only. But otherwise it's a Chinese hybrid, not so Chinese though. Be careful, it looks more like a feed mill due to its size, the quality is inversely proportional to its size Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
