Sono stato all'hotel Saline la settimana di ferragosto, ambiente tranquillo ed elegante, si avverte davvero un'aria serena, hotel ristrutturato e tenuto bene. Signore delle pulizie disponibili e simpatiche, personale cordiale ed educato. Simpaticissimo Pasquale, che gestisce la sala ristorante, bella, nuova, che affaccia direttamente sul mare, sembra di cenare o pranzare in spiaggia. Cordiale, educato, simpatico e disponibile il gestore dello Chalet..IL Signor Franco, persona squisita, sempre attenta alle esigenze degli ospiti, grandi e piccoli. Da migliorare sicuramente la cucina pranzo/cena (colazione top) e le serate di intrattenimento con relativa animazione per i bimbi. Un consiglio..sostituirei la cena di gala del 15/08 con un bouffet e tanta musica in modo da divertirsi un po' di piu'. Da migliorare anche il servizio navetta con gli orari, soprattutto in settimane centrali. La posizione dell'hotel non si discute sta praticamente in acqua.( spiaggia di sabbia) Per chi ha bimbi piccoli lo consiglio, e' davvero il uno degli hotel piu' comodi in cui sono stato. Ho soggiornato in questa struttura ad Agosto. Che dire il punto forte è sicuramente la posizione, direttamente sul mare. Camera grande, luminosa e arredata con gusto. Ottima scelta di dolci a colazione. Riguardo alla mezza pensione, cibo vario con scelte sia di carne che pesce. Personale sorridente. Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5

### Hotel Saline review The 4-star Hotel Saline offers some positive amenities but also has several aspects that may disappoint travelers. Located on the sea, the hotel has free internal parking with security guaranteed by a valet equipped with a radio to communicate with the reception. The entrance is well maintained and fully accessible for wheelchair users, as are all facilities within the hotel. The welcome was friendly, with the staff offering to collect your luggage at the entrance and take it directly to your room. It would have been nice if they had asked us if we wanted anything, like water, when we arrived. The receptionists were friendly and formal, contributing to a warm welcome. The rooms, however, need improvements. Although the balcony offers a sea view, it creaks when it opens and does not close properly, letting in outside noises that disturb your sleep. The size of the room was extremely small for a quadruple, with the television not visible from all beds and no power outlets near the beds. The bathroom was also very small, with an equally small shower, and the presence of a few safes was insufficient for a room intended for four people. The comfort of the room was further compromised by very uncomfortable beds and an insufficient number of pillows. The presence of unnecessary furniture has further reduced the available space, and the lack of soundproofing is a serious flaw for a seaside structure, where noise can easily disturb rest. The air conditioning temperature is also limited to a maximum of 20 degrees, which may not be enough on particularly hot days. The safety of the rooms is another critical point. Access is via a Smart key, and inside there is only a simple lock without the possibility of locking, thus offering little protection and peace of mind to guests. The hotel is also far from the center of Palinuro, making a car necessary for travel. It is not recommended to go on foot due to the considerable distance. However, the hotel offers a well-equipped and modern gym, with treadmills, exercise bikes and weights, which is one of the property's strong points. The swimming pool, although nice and with sea water, could be better cared for in terms of cleanliness. Breakfast is definitely an aspect to improve, not up to expectations for a hotel of this category, although room service is available. In conclusion, the Hotel Saline has some positive aspects, such as the reception and the gym, but the rooms need a serious overhaul to improve comfort, safety and functionality.
