We had one of the best experiences of service in a month at Grottino an Der Aare. The restaurant was out of many items on the menu at 7 pm. on Sunday due to the place being busy over the weekend. We started with a salami and cured ham plate with cheese, and humus. These were good, and the bread was quite nice, with a whole grain sour dough taste. For the main course, the three of us settled for the sausage with different risotto choices. The risotto was slightly undercooked, still having a crunchy center in several grains. Still delicious. One risotto was with a dry Riesling wine, and the other included peas. We ate on picnic benches and then moved to the lounge area for a desert and drink. The tiramisu was quite good. Glasses of reisling wine nicely accompany the dishes. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 60–70 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
