So I was at Groggi an hour ago and wanted to eat something there. I ordered a mixed salad for 9 francs and a bratwurst with rösti. Now to the salad it had bean salad, some carrot salad that was grated on the roasting rack, iceberg lettuce, corn salad and lettuce. The bean salad, and the lettuce and the canned corn salad were not fresh, then there was a woody something in the bean salad that I almost lost my teeth. The mixed salad was all dressed with the same sauce and it wasn't fresh but from the wholesaler. When the landlord came with the bridal sausage, I complained and asked "if you have a trained chef in the kitchen?" To answer no, I didn't learn. I answered yes, you can tell. And the iceberg lettuce was also the cheapest of the cheapest. Then he cleared everything away, including the bratwurst with rösti, without me even being able to enjoy the main menu try and ask you to leave the restaurant. It's an absolute disgrace to treat me like that as a paying guest. He would have apologized better and said they were right. But no, I was thrown out. Absolutely bottom drawer for a landlord to give such an answer. And the best is yet to come. I was thrown out of the restaurant with the comment that you don't have to pay anything, go eat a kebab. Absolute bottom drawer. Then the landlord replied that you can't make bean salad fresh, such nonsense. As a trained chef and restaurateur, I would never serve such a mixed salad to a guest. And to everyone else who has or will give a positive rating in the Gogle review, you all have absolutely no idea about cooking and what it means to prepare and offer fresh and seasonal cuisine. Such a host who is unable to take criticism and throws me out as a guest should better go work in construction. Typically foreigners learned nothing and then made a name for themselves as a host in Switzerland. Will never eat or drink there again. Simply the bottom drawer. Anyone who praises the food as good or even great has no idea about fresh and seasonal cuisine. And he doesn't know what it means to process fresh food and serve it to the guest. This is called mise en place, simply no passion and love for the food that is processed and sold there. The main thing is to sell, regardless of whether it is good or not. And good doesn't mean good in gastronomy, only very good is better than everything else. Unskilled staff in the kitchen and in service includes the management. Almost every housewife can cook better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This so-called landlord of the Groggi restaurant in Herzgenbuchsee was and is absolutely unfriendly, arrogant, unprofessional and cheeky towards a guest in this case towards me. Such behavior is not the gastronomic behavior of a gastonrom. I'm guessing no, I'm sure he didn't even attend hotel school and get professional training!! And believe me, I have worked as a cook and as a runner in very good hotels and know how to behave towards a guest who has a complaint to make. And I bet he doesn't even have any training as a chef or in service, let alone as an innkeeper (i.e.) training in value testing. A few years ago, to run a business that served alcohol, you had to pass the wine test and work in the catering industry for at least several years. The modern online internet correspondence course for the innkeeper's license usually lasts about 2 to 6 months and ends with the innkeeper's examination in your canton or across Switzerland. The training can be shortened or extended. After successfully completing your cantonal qualification, you will receive the innkeeper's certificate. This enables you to work as an innkeeper or manager of a restaurant, bar or food truck. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CHF 20–30
