The young waiter was very friendly and accommodating. However, the Lions Mane Steak, which I was really looking forward to and excited about, was a bit disappointing. For €30 I expect a larger amount of food. Furthermore, the couscous was dry, the steak was okay, but nothing special. The texture was meat-like, the taste was okay. We had a lovely experience at Green One bistro! Two adults (one vegan) and two picky children. When we placed our order, the server was kind enough to make suggestions so that we had the perfect amount of food. We tried baked dödöle (potato balls) plain and with vegan cream and onion sauce, and vegan bograč (traditional stew) from Prekmurje. The children liked the plain dödole and the adults liked everything! Vegan apple strudel for dessert was also delicious. I recommend this cozy restaurant for anyone who wants to try plant-based versions of some traditional Slovenian foods. We hope to return!
