What a thrill to have a meal in the real historic castle! The food was absolutely amazing! Don't think I've ever tasted an octopus this delicious, not even in Portugal! The food offered a real flavoursome experience and the location as well. The waiter was overly attentive. Such a lovely experience! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Lovely food next to the river while the sun is shining. What’s not to love? Nice atmosphere and very friendly service. The food has been excellent every time we have been. The after meal cocktails in the sun listening to the river is always a great way to end Price per person: €20–25 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had to find a special place to celebrate my second year of finding my soulmate. As she restores old buildings my first parameter is castle, monastery where you can eat. I believe I found a real gem. For building looks check the pictures, but we took our starter and welcome drink on the terrace, with view on the river, and we were impressed by the fish bruschetta , and really good advice of the waiter in choosing our food and local Slovenia wine. The sea bass in the oven with roasted vegetables was amazing well cooked and served completely clean without bones.sadly I forgot to take a picture of the food, but I'll sure be doing that the next time. A nice detail was also the little table hanger for my wife's handbag. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
