This is one of the pricier restaurants in the Old Town, and I definitely expected more for the price. The portions are very small and the food is pretty subpar. I feel that a seafood dish for 20€ should have more than 1 shrimp in it. The four-cheese lasagna my friend took was basically inedible. Moreover, they forgot our reservation although we made it in advance, and one of us had to order 4 times because the waiter kept coming back saying that they don’t have what he asked for. I wouldn’t recommend visiting this place Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–35 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We tried the shrimps for appetizer, followed by the cornflake chicken and grilled calamari. Everything was tasty and well-cooked — the shrimps were fresh, the chicken had a nice crunch, and the calamari was tender. The portions were good, and we really enjoyed the overall flavors. Nice spot if you’re looking for a relaxed place with good food. It was a little bit long to have our plates. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €30–35 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Avoid this place at all costs. I had an absolutely horrible experience in this bar. The waiter found me a table and said he would come back with the menu's. I waited to be served for 30 minutes after which I went to the counter to ask if I could get a menu. The waiter angrily told me to get back to my seat and wait to be served.

I left immediately and found a new amazing restaurant with kind staff and good service.

There are plenty of good restaurants to eat in Dubrovnik. Gourmet Bar Ginger is not one of them. Dont waste your money or your time here!
