We had dinner here once, food so and so, nothing special. Perhaps a bit overpriced. Gostilna Mihovc has a lot of profit from the fact that there are practically no other restaurants in the neighbourhood. This gives them a monopoly position. When, one day later, we again wanted to have dinner, one of the waitresses said 'No' - as simple as that, and in a very rude way. I work in tourism, and when I do hotel and restaurant inspections I always keep an eye on the service. I wasn´t here for work now, just on holiday, but I have to admit that in 20 years I never encountered such a bad service, and such a rude waitress, as in Gostilna Mihovc. What a shame!! OK, tables were occupied and/or reservated, but this doesn't mean you just send away your potential clientele. They could have offered us to come back later, or to drink something while waiting. I proposed to sit outside, but they didn´t allow us, as it was winter cold, they said. This was quite an exaggeration, as in other restaurants we saw people sitting outside and temperatures were mild. But the worst thing was yet to come. As friends of us were having dinner here, we decided to stay for a while to have a talk with them. Then the rude waitress, who didn´t address us any friendly word from the beginning, hit my friend on purpose. We wanted to talk to her boss but she said she wouldn´t allow. We talked to one of her colleagues anyway, and then left the restaurant. I think the staff urgently needs some training in service, politeness towards clients, communication skills and professionalism. This place is definitely to avoid, you better have dinner closer to the lake, in Ribcev Laz, or, if you stay in Stara Fuzina and have no transport, a bit lower downhill where there is another restaurant with terrace and where they treat you in a friendly way.
