In Baden on business and saw this restaurant on a “10 Best” list. I was pleased that they offered a menu in English (I’m from New York, USA.
Large selection of enticing options. All plates are small (appetizer size) which allows you to try a few different dishes. I was only able to order 3 dishes as I was so full! I had scallops with sweet corn, bacon Lardons and apple....the corn was so sweet and scallops properly seared- with apple cream underneath. Then I had a beautiful green and white asparagus risotto that was rich and hit the right note of not being cloyingly rich. Lastly I had Marrow bone of veal with a parsley capers salad, Moldon sea salt and homemade bread. Adding the parsley caper salad to the marrow and adding a touch of the salt helped to cut though what is an intensely rich dish.
The dishes were worth my taking photos of and the service was perfect. I even had the honor of the chef stepping out of the kitchen to meet me.
I will definitely return to this restaurant if I can talk my firm into sending me here again!

Amazing food and preparation. I never knew onion soup could do that. And I know onion soup. Fois gras terrine was delicious and onion soup was frothed and the flavors were delightful. We had so many other courses that we're all so good as well. The spinach bread salad tasted and was presented fabulously. It was an overall fantastic dining experience. All small plates, no Hauptspeise. You can order three, four or five plates for set prices. I recommend only three, that way you are not too full to walk across the stone walkway to the thermal baths. ;)
