The Gelateria was really good in the end. We only speak English and were using Google lens to translate the ice cream flavours, I think this came across rude to the owner and we almost walked out due to the initial conversation. However, the owner shared a lot of great history on the place and we seemed to end the transaction off as a good note. It's a learning experience for us that we should ask for English but also the businesses to expect tourists to be using technology to translate because most places don't always speak your language.
