Ho alloggiato qui per lavoro, si dorm bene l'ambiente e pulito fresco e spazioso...peccato le troppe zanzare!!!! Atmosphere: 4

Siamo rimasti molto deluso, personale non attenti, mangiare, abbiamo chiesto una insalata grande, con petto di pollo, così miserabile, insalata piccola invece di essere abbastanza, petto di pollo non era fresco, sembrava gia finito con pane grattugiato, e poi fatto sulla griglia carissimo, era veramente disgustoso tutto ciò! peccato un posto così panoramica, con personale zero!!!

The location and atmosphere are genuinely beautiful, that part alone I'd rate 4 stars. The service was fine too, attentive and friendly (I'd say 3 to 4 stars there as well). Where things fell short for me was the food, especially in relation to the price. We ordered a salad (CHF 12.50) and a vegetarian burger (CHF 24.50). What arrived surprised us: the salad held one or two lettuce leaves, a light sprinkle of cheese, about 4 to 5 kidney beans, roughly 10 pieces of corn, and a few other vegetables, served on a large plate that made the small amount even more visible. The vegetarian burger came with 4 to 5 grilled mushrooms, one lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, two pieces of bread, some sauce, and one more small vegetable. (I say this in detail because I didn't take a picture unfortunately) Seeing this, I felt disappointed and a little uneasy. I value pricing that feels proportionate to what's actually served, especially for vegetarian dishes, which here cost close to the meat based ones. Nothing about the presentation or ingredients read as organic or gourmet level to me, so it was hard to connect the price to what was on the plate. I'd genuinely love to see more generous portions here, particularly for the salads and vegetarian options, and maybe a plate size that matches the portion rather than dwarfing it. The setting has real potential, the food is the piece holding it back. For comparison: Sennhütte Zürcher Oberland, not far away, offered generous portions, great flavor, and great service across both vegetarian and traditional dishes. That's the balance of value and quality I was hoping to find here.
