I saw the negative reviews of the restaurant, but also that there was new ownership, and I'm happy to say the bad reviews are not deserved anymore. The staff were very polite and friendly, the food was excellent, and the view was phenomenal. I'd highly recommend the restaurant to anyone going to Reichenbach Falls.

This was by far the worst service I have ever experienced. I have stayed in that area three times, and each visit left me more disappointed than the last. The first time, I simply stopped in front of the establishment to take a photo of the beautiful rock formation across the street. Almost immediately, someone rushed outside and began shouting at me, claiming that the mountain “belonged” to her. She was extremely aggressive, and any attempt I made to speak with her calmly was completely dismissed. On the other two occasions, I stopped by hoping to have a drink, but each time I was met with the same unfriendly attitude. I was rudely turned away without any explanation. It is honestly unbelievable that a business can continue to operate with such behavior, and even more surprising that people still choose to go there. Without a doubt, this is the worst place in the entire region. I strongly advise others to avoid it. Service: 1

Today we were shocked by the behavior of the staff of this restaurant! We have lived in Switzerland for over 25 years. The Rosenlaul Gorge is the most favorite of all the gorges in Switzerland and therefore we visit these places often - 2-5 times a year, we take all our friends to show these wonderful places. Quite often we stopped at this restaurant to have lunch or just drink coffee, we always recommended it to everyone we knew, including on social networks (even despite the fact that the last time my son and I had unpleasant sensations in our stomachs after eating) . Today we had a trip to Rosenlaui with our friends from Germany. They were in Switzerland for the first time and we spent the whole day telling them about the hospitable Swiss people, about their good nature. Since we had dinner at another restaurant this time and were not hungry, we decided to stop and show off the beautiful view from the terrace of Gasthaus Zwirgi. The restaurant staff did not allow us to do this . A woman, loudly saying: “Look, our guests are sitting there (about 4 people!), and you have nothing to do here! Look at the view somewhere else!”, literally pushed us off the terrace. Never set foot in this restaurant again! It’s a pity that our guests had a negative impression of Swiss hospitality and the Swiss in general In all the years of living in this country, this was the first such case!
