Wow - friendly people have the desire and ambition to offer great gastronomy with a reasonable price-performance ratio. We went on a wonderful bike tour today and “accidentally” found what we were looking for ;-) Of course, there were a lot of people in a well-known restaurant nearby and neither of us had any ambition to stand in line for a beer. Luckily, on the way there, I saw an inviting-looking inn close by, in front of which a group of cyclists had just set off. Without further ado, we drove back to the "Gasthaus Zum Kreuz in Warth" and "shared" a fine "WuSaGa" (sausage salad garnished) in a very cultivated atmosphere - the "robber's fork" was almost "forced" on me by the boss ;-) - and Ittinger Klosterbräu was drunk by the glass. How lucky we are to have escaped the “tourist anthill” in the gastronomy of the market competitors. The service read our wishes very carefully and was pleasantly discreet, extremely friendly and accommodating. Our own, very rudimentary dish was very attractively presented and tasted well rounded. What our eyes saw all around was also a feast for the eyes. And as could be seen from the conversations around, the other guests were also happy. We had the impression of a dignified inn with a friendly and down-to-earth self-assurance. At certain times a certain dress code is certainly appropriate. But on a Sunday afternoon, appropriately dressed cyclists are also welcome. Because you never know who will “get lost”, so to speak, in one restaurant or another. Or was there higher leadership...?! I guess we'll find out later. May many guests receive this warm and passionate gastronomy and bring the hosts an income for a satisfied work. Lots of enthusiasm, joy of life and success.
