We have eaten here like 4 times now, after a 1 week trip. There is a reason why we have eaten here most of the days in stead of going to other restaurants. No matter what i order here, i am amazed by the quality and taste. This is what i call a proper 5 star restaurant. Breakfast Where the Waves Came In — Tamaris, Tučepi Matko - special thanks to You! We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant every morning — and it was simple, but really lovely. There was a small paper on the table with maybe six or seven ways to have your eggs. And that already made it feel like someone saw you. Each option came as its own dish, and the choices were more than enough. For a hotel this size, the breakfast was generous. There were lots of fruits — which felt like a gift, especially for late May. Big enough, rich enough, but not too much. Tasty, quiet. No noise around it. But that wasn’t the main thing. The restaurant sits right by the sea. And while you’re having breakfast, you’re not just eating — you’re listening. Waves. A kind of quiet rhythm inside. There’s background music, yes — but the sea is louder, in the best way. I sat there, eating watermelon, and suddenly it felt like little bells started ringing inside me. Not because of the food — but because everything came together: taste, air, sound, attention. Thank you for this breakfast. It was delicious. And alive. Restaurant Freyja is situated by the ocean inside Hotel Tamaris. It has a variety of high quality dishes to offer on the meny. Both the hamburger, risotto and pasta dishes are great choices. Aldo the steak sallad and Cesar sallad are very tasty. I highly rekommend this place and the service-minded staff. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
