This was hands down my favorite meal of our three-week trip through Europe. As soon as we entered Dubrovnik's Old Town, we noticed a huge line outside Holy Burek. We had no idea what everyone was waiting for, but figured a line that long had to be worth it. We're so glad we joined it! The burek was absolutely incredible. The pastry was perfectly flaky, golden, and packed with flavor. It was seasoned just right, and despite the crowd, the service was fast and efficient. After walking the city walls and exploring Old Town, we found ourselves craving it again and came back for a second round to have some to go so we can eat it at the hotel for dinner. My only regret is that we only got one each. I should have gotten more. That's how good it was. Even now, I can still remember the amazing flavors. If you're visiting Dubrovnik, do yourself a favor and stop at Holy Burek. It's an absolute must-try and easily one of the best things we ate during our entire European vacation. PS - they are opening a location in Miami which is near us. Can't wait for them to open! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €5–10

Javed, reviews like yours are exactly why we get up at dawn to start rolling dough The fact that you came back twice on the same trip—and crowned us your favorite meal in three weeks across Europe—means more than we can say.We absolutely loved reading that your only regret was not ordering more... don't worry, we've heard that one before The best part? Next time, you won't have to fly across the Atlantic. We'll be waiting for you in Miami's Bayside with your burek fresh out of the oven. See you there!
