Vero ristorante bernese e non turistico. Menu molto interessante e per nulla scontato. Servizio ottimo e curato.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante un sabato a pranzo incuriositi dall'ampia scelta di tartare. Il menù non ci ha deluso, ci sono veramente tartare per tutti i gusti, ma non solo. I proprietari, molto accoglienti, parlano sia tedesco che francese e ci hanno spiegato la loro predilezione per i prodotti bio e locali (vini inclusi). La decorazione è semplice, carina e moderna, il servizio ottimo e i piatti deliziosi. Non vediamo l'ora di tornarci!

I waited far too long to write this review because the Fischerstübli has been my absolute favorite restaurant since I lived in Bern! Since I was there for the first time, I haven't been able to eat tartare in any other restaurant because I always think: it would be better at home. The Fischerstübli is located in the historic Mattenquartier in Bern. The restaurant is furnished in a very “homey” manner and offers a warm, friendly atmosphere. The waitresses are always in a good mood and have a good saying, you can tell that they like their work. The interaction between service and management is on an equal footing, which seems to have an extremely positive influence on the quality of the service. Regarding the ambience, it should also be mentioned that all social classes are represented thanks to the extremely fair prices. The Fischerstübli is a place for everyone who wants to enjoy good, high-quality food with the highest level of presentation, but doesn't want to pay completely overpriced prices for it. The menu consists of 3 main courses (also available as a menu) and around 10 different types of tartare. Almost every time there is an “amuse bouche” or “greetings from the kitchen” as the people in Bern put it. This one is very experimental, but incredibly tasty every time. There's not much more to say about the tartare than: Wow! The meat is cut and not minced and literally falls apart in your mouth. No ingredient is overdone, so all the attention is focused on the meat. Simply perfect! The starters convinced me every time. It should be emphasized that I never liked the cold soup "Gazpacho", but when I tried it again in the Fischerstübli, I suddenly became a big fan. The cuisine is adapted to the season, which I also really appreciate. It should also be mentioned that the Fischerstübli regularly offers events such as Portuguese "Wine and Dine", "Gin and Dine" or smaller evening entertainment. There is also a regular tartare evening, where you get to try 3 small tartares and have to write down what ingredients were used in them. In summary: The Fischerstübli is a place to feel good.
