Dopo un lungo viaggio in moto volevamo solo sederci e mangiarci qualcosa al volo tipo insalata. Una volta seduti ci viene detto che per il pranzo c'è solo la pinsa e che il menù che abbiamo letto quindi non era ordinabile. Non ci siamo alzati a cercare altro solo per la stanchezza. La pinsa non era malaccio se non fosse che aveva un retrogusto di detersivo. Insomma pessima esperienza. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: €15–20

We had a very disappointing experience at Filodrammatica Restaurant & Bar. When we arrived, the terrace was almost empty and we took a seat at a two-person table on the right side. Our original intention was to have lunch, but after looking through the menu, we decided that nothing particularly appealed to us, so we chose to stay for just two soft drinks. As soon as the waitress realized that we were not going to order food, she told us that she was very sorry, but we had to leave our table and move to the other side of the terrace because the right side was apparently reserved exclusively for guests ordering food. There were no available tables on the other side, and more importantly, we had not seen this policy stated anywhere beforehand. I would suggest asking guests upon arrival whether they intend to eat or only have drinks, and seating them accordingly. Alternatively, this policy should be clearly communicated with visible signage. We decided not to move, as there was nowhere available to sit anyway. Shortly afterwards, the waitress came back and, in a rather irritated tone, asked us if we had not understood what she had said. We replied that we understood perfectly, but would simply like the bill and leave. The entire situation was unnecessarily unpleasant and felt quite humiliating. We had originally intended to enjoy our time there, but instead felt unwelcome simply because we decided not to order food. Hospitality should not depend on how much a guest ends up spending. Unfortunately, this experience ensured that we will not be returning.
