Excellent hotel, close to the airport, inside an historic Medici mansion. Very spacious rooms with all comforts. We dined at their restaurant, a very pleasant experience with Emanuele, who helped us selecting a fantastic wine and provided a top notch service. Food was very good, eventually authentic Tuscan food vs too many restaurant morphing into ‘michelin’ style and we had the pleasure to meet the Chef and have with him a nice chat on Italian dining evolution. A very nice hotel with a beautiful garden, you could say that the name of the hotel says it all. The gentleman at reception is super friendly and accommodating. The entire staff is super friendly and helpful. We would love to come back. Service: 5

Hotel to avoid. They should change the description in Booking where they claim being a 4-star hotel, which obviously does not correspond to reality, by far. It has a lot of potential and charm but they should invest in a renovation of the basics since all the basic facilities are very old or do not work optimally and also review their cleaning standards. Just to illustrate our experience: super noisy old air conditioning, the bathtub/shower curtains with mold and dust, water stagnating in the bathtub when you showered and dusty bed quilts, crushed mosquitoes or plasters stuck to the wall The breakfast is not what you would expect from a hotel that claims 4 stars on Booking, a lot of industrial pastries and little variety for the rest.
