The traditional country restaurant, small and chic (like those that can only be seen in old Italian movies), Etta Enosteria is suitable for those who, in the hilly areas of Liguria, want to discover authentic local cuisine. It has tables (not many) inside but also a few outside, in front of the building, being frequented by both locals and tourists. The atmosphere outside is - in the summer, obviously - gorgeous, the tables are placed in a small square (where you can park your car) next to which there is a church beautifully lit in the evening, old houses and, nearby, a small running water. The dishes specific to the place are very well cooked but offered in not very large portions, which is why it might be recommended to start with a starter (the first part of the menu written on the board - see the picture) followed by a main course. Superb trippa (cow belly) with guanciale (pork tripe), gnocchi with rabbit meat or Tiramisu (prepared in the most authentic way). Red wine is better than white wine, without the latter being to be avoided. The loud, voluble (in the purest Italian style) and cheerful owner makes the guests' stay very pleasant, being discreetly complemented by the other staff members.
