Posto incantevole. Vale pranzare qui non solo per il cibo fresco ed abbondante ma anche per lo spettacolo della natura circostante. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Spinti dalla location da sogno ci accingiamo in 6 adulti a cenare in questo locale per festeggiare un evento in famiglia. Prenotazione fatta telefonicamente, una settimana prima, chiedendo espressamente un tavolo con vista mare. Arrivati al locale, ci accoglie il proprietario che ci assegna ad un tavolo interno (no vista mare) e alla mia richiesta di disponibilità di un tavolo in terrazza, mi risponde che non é possibile in quanto quest'ultima é in ristrutturazione. Peccato che, durante la serata ci accorgiamo di un discreto movimento proveniente dal piano superiore e che risultava essere pieno di clienti!!!! Ovviamente il titolare ha mostrato grande mancanza di professionalità nella gestione del cliente considerandoci stupidi. Al momento del conto facciamo presente l'accaduto e con grande noncuranza, piuttosto che scusarsi, ci dice vhe non ha bisogno di clienti come noi... Qualità del pesce scarsa, tutto congelato e privo della giusta spinta di sapori. Non sono presenti ventilatori o altri dispositivi per rinfrescare l'aria, per cui si cena in un bagno di sudore. Unica nota positiva la gentilezza dei camerieri anche se servizio lento e lasciati abbandonati a noi stessi per un'intera serata, in cui abbiamo dovuto chiedere per ogni singola cosa presente sul tavolo, dall'acqua al pane, al vino, al sorbetto e a tutto il resto. Ovviamente non mi sento di consigliarlo a nessuno, soprattutto perché rischiereste di rovinare i ricordi dell'evento che intendete festeggiare. BOCCIATO!!

A classic tourist trap – poor service, overcharged, disrespected and publically embarassed. Starting with the good: While the Napoli pizza was genuinely very good and the location is lovely, this does not make up for what was otherwise an extremely poor experience – and one that, based on other reviews, is clearly not unique. We were misled from the outset: the 'fresh' pasta had clearly been dried, and what we received was undercooked to the point of being crunchy. There was no offer of condiments, and one of our dishes was literally tossed onto the table as the waiter walked by without a glance. Our complaint was misunderstood, and attempts by the waiters to resolve the issue – which had several waiters aggressively shoving their phones into my girlfriend's face to use a google translation tool – were met with condescension or outright dismissal. When we refused to eat a raw/crunchy pasta dish, we were essentially bullied into being told that 'this is how it should be eaten.' A phrase which seemed well-rehearsed and suddenly no translation tool was required! Even after explaining we would happily share the pizza instead of eating the unacceptable dish, we were still served the rejected dish nearly 20 minutes later. A clear attempt to mitigate the losses for the poor service. The real shock came with the bill: the rejected pasta made up nearly 40% of the total. Only after prolonged protest and public embarrassment on the terrace (around 15 minutes of back and forth) was a partial reduction offered – but we still ended up paying for service and food we did not receive or consume. We left feeling taken advantage of, unwelcome, and frustrated – and sought refuge at Il Nodo, where we finally received a warm welcome and food served with a smile. What should have happened here is that the complaint was accepted quietly with humility (everyone makes mistakes) and the dish remade if the customer so desires. Failing that, a polite acceptance of the solution given by the customer, in this case the sharing of a single dish that had already been served without charge for the inedible dish (very happy to pay for the pizza and drinks we were served). I hope that L'Amuri Sant'Elia accept this constructive review with some measure of grace and decorum, unlike the citing of Article 595 in an earlier complaint response. Threatening a client with legal activity is reputational suicide. In defense of that particular customer, their freedom of speech and expression is protected by Article 21.
