Vieni qui per bere qualcosa dopo una lunga passeggiata attorno alla Basilica e Scoletta di S. Maria del Carmine. Non scordarti di mangiare gli ottimi stuzzichini e polpette in questo pub & bar. In base all'opinione dei critici, qui propongono dei vino, gin o birra davvero deliziosi. Molti visitatori ordinano il fantastico caffè.

Announced by an article in the Mattino di Padova, my wife and I, intrigued, went to the Enoteca Mediterranea on the opening/inauguration day. The wine shop is part of a larger initiative which also includes a bookshop (the shape of the Book) and a travel agency (The shape of the journey), and in fact what is striking is the vast, bright rooms, furnished with original touches often unexpected and never intrusive, is that these 3 identities merge in every corner, display and decoration. However, what is even more striking is the "location" and, above all, the external terraces - with tables, deckchairs and comfortable puffs - which extend onto the greenery, under the trees and up to "the river bank". The wine shop has a vast assortment of wines curated with evident care and intention: never "mainstream" cellars and interesting products such as Cirò (vinified in both white and rosé) and Spanish Verdejo. The "spunci"... Delicious! Well beyond the meatballs (which are however very assorted and very good), we also enjoyed small plates and small lattes with cous-cous, then with burrata and fresh/dried cherry tomatoes, and finally caponata. The staff is friendly, helpful and always attentive, and is also young, which is no bad thing at all. In short, we had a wonderful time and we will be back very soon, because among the wines served or to buy, ideas and tastings and delicious morsels, the gins and the cans of highly prized and (sustainably fished) tuna displayed here and there (don't miss the plan below!), we are sure that the Enoteca Mediterranea really has a lot to offer. Well done, well done, well done!
