Fermati x pranzo durante escursione in MTB. Bellissimo grande giardino con alberi secolari, in cui mangiare all' aperto. Cevapcici nella norma, jota ottima ed abbondante. Birra Lasko alla spina super. Prezzi moderati anche per la Slovenia.

We stayed at the most cozy Dom Pristava, nestled among mountains and an old garden. Another option would have been Lake Bled, but its overpriced hotels and crowds didn’t appeal to us. Considering that Dom Pristava is truly a “Dom” (a traditional guesthouse), it was a full-score choice. The elderly couple who run the place are absolutely wonderful—friendly and helpful. The host speaks English well. Dom also serves as a local bar, which adds to the authentic atmosphere and makes you feel like you're in a real place. We had dinner there, and it was delicious homemade food. My bograč was perhaps the best I’ve ever had—tender, perfectly spiced, and wonderfully aromatic. The Lasko beer on tap paired perfectly with the meal. Breakfast was also homemade: pancakes, eggs from their own chickens, jam, sausages, and more. Our double room was simple but clean and peaceful. The toilet and shower are shared. I slept extremely well. The road up to Dom Pristava from Jesenice is narrow and winding, but in decent condition. The village has around 200 residents, including children, so there’s also a local bus service. Dom has enough parking spaces for everyone. This place is a paradise for hikers and an easy, affordable choice for travelers. Service: 5
