We found this place by chance while looking for a regular restaurant around and didn't think that it was on the top of the mountain. However long the winding road took us to get there, I can't say that I regret it. There are beautiful views around it. The food is homemade and delicious. Portions are big. It is possible to pay by card and they speak English. If u want to have a local experience, definitely go there. U can combine it with walking in the mountains around and stay for the night as well. I found this place on google map while looking for dinner - didnt notice that it'a high in mountains :D went there by car and it was worth it. Absolutely lovely area and super friendly owners. Variety of local food is amazing, everything comes fresh. They accept credit cards and speak good english. After some food you can have a walk around in forest/mountains. Next time i will book a room for a few nights. Service: 5

We visited Dom Pristava for 1 night, on our way to climb Grossglockner in Austria. It was such a delight to stay there! The house is built at a very beautiful spot, with lovely nature around! Fresh air and plenty of places to walk or just chill. What thrilled me the most were the hosts - the husband and the wife - they were exceptionally kind and sweet and fun to talk to. They were also very eager to accommodate us and help with any requests. There are wonderful animals there, including the cat Gustav :) all in all, my warmest, warmest recommendation!
