The bread is good. My issue is the service. Ordered two brioche for Xmas eve, got an email confirmation for pick up, I get there at the time of pick up and the bakery is shut although the opening times on the door indicate they are operating, online their operating times do not indicate extraordinary closure. I call, no one answers the phone, I send an email, no reply. My anger is festive, as my brunch plans for Xmas have just faltered. I do the same thing for New Year’s eve (everyone deserves a second chance): I reserve 2 brioche breads, get an email confirmation to which I reply and ask for a quick confirmation that they indeed are open and have my order. No reply. I do not want to drive again for an hour and get to a shut store, so I decide to call them. Nobody answers the phone. I finally try instagram messages and get a snarky sarcastic reply that I should know they are busy and that no one can pick up the phone. I finally get to the bakery and two employees are doing nothing, (I must have picked the least busy timing) and I get only one brioche instead of reserved two. I am still waiting for a reply to my two emails. I give 2 stars, because they do do good things, however their service is appalling. Every business is hard to start, but the best customer is the returning customer. Traditions are built on those synergies. I cannot say they are representing Dobrine true to their name in the form of their services. For me a good bread story has to have the right people behind it who understand that there are two sides to each slice of bread. Food: 4 Service: 1
