Outside it says “Consistently warm kitchen”. We wanted to eat something at 5 p.m., but the non-German speaking staff showed a piece of paper that said “no outsiders” - despite the restaurant being empty. A short phone call to the boss confirms to the staff that they are not allowed to accept external guests. We can't understand that, we would have been outside again by 6 p.m. at the latest. An absolute no go for us - a shame! Service: 1

Saturday afternoon, bad weather, after a hike my girlfriend and I and 3 other people were a little hungry. We walked through the village, where we were rejected in an extremely unfriendly manner at another Italian restaurant (the name also rhymes Lasso). Then we came up with the idea of stopping by the Rest Del Ponte, in the 5 star Hotel Walliserhof. Even though we came in hiking clothes, we received extremely friendly and courteous service. Despite the rather chic appearance of the restaurant, we felt welcome. The food, the service and everything around it was first class and we will come back. Hospitality is very important here!
