Very simple and authentic piadineria, great for a brunch at a decent price. We chose Varenna - with salmon and teriyaki sauce and fresh cheese - very interesting combination. It was more than enough for a brunch for two, as we were not very hungry. The place is simple, people are friendly, and wait time was not too long. Outstanding!!! We'd picked this over a lake facing restaurant meal out the front and typically we'd regret that decision, but definitely not this time. It was so good to have a standout meal that wasn't pizza or pasta. One of us had the salmon piadini and half way down the hill to a restaurant after a bite each, we made a -turn and headed back for others to get their lunch there too. The chef and team at the Da Franco Piadineria e Panetteria were happy to accommodate dietary preferences, offer something unique and on the whole, this seemingly simple (nothing simple) Piadini was a highlight meal from our Italy trip. Yum, that dough!!! The team there were also such fun and helpful with realistic recommendations about what to see and do with short time. Definitely recommend popping in there even if to have 1 to share just to experience it all. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
