Dal Moro's Venice Fresh Pasta Restaurant

Thank you for your review and for acknowledging the quality of our food and service. We are slightly puzzled by the idea that having international guests could somehow define a place as a “tourist trap.” Venice is one of the most visited cities in the world, and welcoming people from different countries is simply part of its nature. It would be rather unusual if our dining room were filled exclusively with locals in a city that hosts millions of visitors every year. Our fresh pasta is made daily following Italian tradition. It is not adapted, simplified, or “designed” for foreigners. It is exactly what we serve in Italy, because this is Italy. If our concept is appreciated by travelers from around the world, we see that as a compliment rather than a flaw. Good food does not lose authenticity because it is enjoyed by someone speaking another language. We are proud to serve anyone who walks through our door, whether they are from Venice, Rome, New York, or Tokyo.
