We learned about this place through online recommendations and reviews. And we visited 2x. First visit on a very hot day and it was packed - we managed to get a small table for us. And we ordered Le Croq Madame. Les Oeufs bacon 2 x Double Espresso Our coffee was served first, though we're not really a big fan of sour coffee - we appreciated the boldness and strength of the coffee overall. Both dishes were served at the same time. Waiting time was decent, and the presentation was very enticing and the portion was good, too. My husband ordered the Egg Benedict style and I had the Le Croq Madame. I personally enjoyed the one that I had while it's pretty heavy, just a perfect combination of everything. However, when it comes to the Egg Benedict - was a disappointment because the egg yolks were not how it supposed to be, both overcooked, and yes, when the staff asked about our experience we shared everything, they even called the chef and everyone sincerely apologized for the experience. The second visit, less crowd and we got almost the side spot. And ordered, -La Brioche -Le Croq Madame 2 Double Espresso This time my husband ordered the Le Croq Madame and for me, I thought to try something else and chose La Brioche. Same thing, we had our coffee first and both dishes were served at the same and decent waiting time. And we're both surprised with poached eggs from La Brioche this time, same thing - there's somehow an inconsistency in how they cook poached eggs. Presentation always enticing and again, a generous portion - not sure whether the basil pesto sauce goes along with the dish itself but overall, I'm pleased. In general, we really enjoyed the choices of savory dishes they have along with the quality of coffee. We're just not sure about the standard of poached eggs for them. Apart from that, we are always happy to visit another time to try other savory dishes. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Brunch Price per person: CHF 20–30
