While the mechanical work is fine, this shop engages in misleading communication and aggressive upcharging. I brought in my 2020 Canyon road bike and explicitly authorized a light service, a brake pad change, and a rear tire replacement, leaving it up to them to decide if the front tire also needed it. I was verbally quoted "around CHF 40" for a tire. Instead of using standard, budget-appropriate parts for an older aluminum bike, the shop took advantage of my trust. For every single item, they chose top-tier premium brands without consulting me: Continental GP 5000 racing tires at CHF 69 each (they decided to change both) and premium SwissStop brake pads at CHF 51. On top of that, they stacked highly inflated individual labor fees—including CHF 40 per wheel just to mount the tires—bringing a basic service bill to a staggering CHF 399. When I challenged them on the expensive tires, they claimed they just installed "the same ones the bike came with." This is factually false; the Canyon Endurace AL 7.0 stock specs come with mid-tier Grand Prix SL tires, not top-of-the-line GP 5000 race rubber. When I complained further, they offered to "quickly swap them out for cheaper ones for free." If swapping tires is that quick and trivial, charging a mandatory CHF 80 in labor on top of a CHF 100 base service fee is pure gouging. Between this and paying CHF 345.90 (which is over CHF 300 even after subtracting the socks I bought) for a basic check, a single spoke, and handlebar tape on my E-Gravel bike, this shop's business model relies on stacking unapproved premium parts and inflated labor. Get every franc in writing before leaving your bike here.

Was at CICLOSPORT today by chance (was actually looking for Rosebike...once and NEVER again to Rosebike - service is incompetent, unfriendly, out of the question) Then went to CICLOSPORT and was given GREAT advice, went perfectly and everything was super friendly. Will definitely come back to you in the future. Thanks again for the wheels! Thomas H., Küsnacht
