Dopo una lunga passeggiata attorno all' Archivio di Stato di Matera, visita questo locale per una gradevole pausa. La maggior parte degli ospiti consiglia l'esotico pollo fritto. L'atmosfera ospitale del ristorante Chicken beer dipende in larga misura dal personale, che qui è davvero amichevole. Rimarrai sicuramente soddisfatto dell'encomiabile servizio. Friendly service. We really enjoyed the popcorn chicken! Tried spicy and sweet, and honey soy which was yummy. Highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A small restaurant located outside the historic center of Matera but a stone's throw from it. It is run by a very friendly and helpful Korean and Italian couple. I came in for some dinner on a really cold night when I needed something comforting. What they had on the menu looked appetizing but it wasn't what I needed. Seeing that I couldn't decide, they asked me. I responded that I would love a soup that would warm my body. I didn't have to say more, they invited me to sit down and, even though I didn't see that dish on the menu, they prepared it for me in a few minutes. While I was eating dinner I had a small conversation with the lady about the things I knew about Korea. To my surprise he disappeared into the kitchen to come out a moment later with a small plate of kimchi saying that if he knew Korean cuisine he would know that no meal is complete without kimchi.
