A truly beautiful place—the look and feel was amazing. The only exception was perhaps the aroma diffuser in the corner that switched neon colors, which slightly broke the otherwise well-thought-out atmosphere. The food itself was lovely. However, the service and portions need some attention. We were a group of six, but the waiter only brought us a single scoop of butter, which didn't feel very well-planned. While the gnocchi tasted great, the portion size was simply not enough. In general, the portions didn't quite work out—we actually had to eat more at home after ordering a three-course meal. To top it off, there was a 100.- error on our bill for dishes we never had. Because I personally loved the vibe of the place, I am writing this review to give Chesa Marchetta the chance to improve. You have a great foundation, but at this high price point, the service and portion sizes currently miss the mark. Price per person: CHF 80–90 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

The aroma diffuser is a temporary solution to discourage the flies which in this season like to come inside the house. We will remove it as as soon as possible. A fantastic evening at Chesa Marchetta. You can feel the care in everything: the room, the pacing, the service, and the food itself. It’s the kind of place where the evening unfolds effortlessly and you leave a little happier than you arrived. A special mention to “the guy with the curly hair”: warm, attentive, and quietly exceptional. The kind of hospitality that gives the place its warmth.
