Magnifico castello in cui è possibile pernottare , vista mozzafiato sulla città di lucerna e sul lago, vale la pena il viaggio, fa parte anche del tour de swiss con la vista dalla terrazza che al tramonto è impagabile. Interni stupendi con arazzi ed opere d'arte. Personale molto professionale, possibilità di parcheggio nel piazzale oppure presente una funicolare che porta dal centro città fino all ingresso dell hotel.

Pranzo con vista mozzafiato su Lucerna. Antipasto piatto principale e dolce a prezzo fisso, bicchiere di vino e acqua compresi. Ne e' valsa la pena.

Our stay at Hotel Château Gütsch was truly one of the most memorable hotel experiences we have ever had and an incredible way to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived, the property felt special. Staying in a beautifully restored historic castle overlooking Lucerne created an experience that felt both elegant and timeless while still offering all of the comforts and amenities of a luxury hotel. Our room was spacious, luxurious, and exceptionally comfortable. One of the highlights was the large outdoor deck attached to our room, which offered breathtaking panoramic views of the city, Lake Lucerne, and the surrounding mountains. It became one of our favorite places to sit, relax, and simply take in the beauty of Switzerland. The staff throughout our stay were warm, welcoming, and attentive, helping create an experience that felt refined without ever feeling formal or distant. One feature that made this hotel even more enjoyable was how easy it was to access the city. Although Château Gütsch sits high on the hillside overlooking Lucerne, the property has its own funicular that quickly takes guests down into the city below. From there, it is only a short walk into Lucerne’s Altstadt (Old Town), making it incredibly convenient to explore the shops, restaurants, and historic sites including the iconic Kapellbrücke before returning to the quiet and beauty of the castle above. The property itself also offers more than just beautiful accommodations and quick access to the city. Nearby walking paths and forest areas made for an incredibly peaceful and relaxing morning stroll and provided a quiet contrast to the energy of exploring the city. We thoroughly enjoyed dining at the hotel as well. The restaurant was excellent, and ending the evening in the hotel bar with decadent desserts while overlooking the lights of Lucerne made for an unforgettable final touch to the day. What makes Château Gütsch so special is the combination of history, luxury, incredible views, and the feeling that for a brief moment you get to experience what life may have felt like for those who once occupied this remarkable place. If you are visiting Lucerne and looking for a truly unique and memorable place to stay, I cannot recommend Hotel Château Gütsch highly enough. This was more than a hotel stay—it felt like stepping into another era while enjoying the beauty and comfort of modern Switzerland.
